Going Private
No I'm not making my blog private but I do wonder why people make their blogs private. Most people will say so that people can't see pictures of their kids. Really? Isn't that the whole point of a blog? Post pictures of your family and blog about things that interest you? Do you put a blanket over their heads when they go out too like Michael Jackson did to his kid? I guess these are the same people who don't want to make $9.65 from their blog. So all of you who have set your blog to private, please tell me why.

It's a personal decision. I chose to go private after I started getting hits from all over the world. At first I thought "cool" then I got a little creeped out "why is someone in the ukraine reading my blog?" I even got comments from some stranger in Spain. Then shortly after I went private a really ODD guy from high school ( I can't emphasis how ODD he is) asked to be invited, I didn't invite him and I am comforted knowing creepy people like that can't read it. I blog for my own records and I do blog to post pictures for friends and family, but not complete strangers. And Yes, I think I am that person that would not care to make money off my blog, it's not worth subjecting my readers to those annoying ads just to make a few bucks! And now I have just left my longest comment ever :)
