Watch this video closely. At around one minute, 11 seconds you can see Cheryl on the side of the trail wearing an orange shirt waiting patiently to get some awesome pictures. Then she hikes back down the trail to get the water bottle ready for the hand off, which you can see in the second video at around 6:27.
Look here around 6:27. She has a backpack on and is looking away for some reason.
