WRIAD

What is WRIAD you ask? White Rim In A Day. The White Rim trail wraps around Canyonlands National Park near Moab, Utah. The trail itself is 103 miles long and full of scenic vistas around every turn. Sounds fun right?

We decided to attempt this feat last Saturday. The plan was to start early and finish in around 12 hours, including stops. Of course we started late and ended up finishing later than expected, but we did it!

The following are random pictures from the adventure. The ride started with me, Mike, and Ian. Matt joined later in the ride and rode about 20 miles. Ian bailed out after 40 miles, and Mike threw in the towel around mile 70. Cheryl and Nicole had fun driving our 2 support vehicles that carried all of our food and water and other various supplies.

It was a good ride and I am proud to say that I rode the whole thing without walking a single section of trail. I know, hooray for me!
