2010 Wellness Program
Brian and I are participating in our health insurance wellness program. We have a wellness challenge every two months. If we complete the challenge we get cash back at the end of the year. The first challenge is "Easy on the sugar and exercise 30 minutes, 5 days per week." I can honestly say that so far, we have done exceptionally well. I'm so proud of us. Instead of eating treats or desserts, we eat more fruits and vegetables and drink lots of water. We have our own mini gym in the basement thanks to Heather and Spencer for the treadmill and thanks to Matt and Nicole for the bike trainer. Although I can hardly wait for the weather to warm up so I can start running/biking outside. It gets pretty dang boring starring at the file cabinet for 45 minutes every night.

OH I am so proud of you 2!!! Do you have a laptop? If so, put that in front of your treadmill or bike and turn on a show that you like, and watch it while you exercise. It makes exercising go by a lot quicker and will be more entertaining than that filing cabinet!! (or stick the laptop on top of the filing cabinet!) And it's easier to transport than a TV.
