We just got home from a very fun weekend. Brian had a race in Jackson Hole which was a great excuse for us to get away. We stayed at the Teton Valley Campground in Victor, ID. On Friday, we drove over to Jackson Hole so Brian could pre-ride the course. The course was located in Teton Village. While Brian was riding, I hiked the trail.

A look at Teton Village
Brian did awesome in his race on Saturday! Once again, Brian took 3rd place. Here are some pictures of him cruising on the trail. Saturday, August 1st is the last race of the season. Brian has a chance of moving into 3rd place in the overall standings. Good luck!!

After the race and awards we drove into Jackson Hole for lunch and ice cream. Of course we had to do the tourist thing and get our picture taken under the antler arch. Notice the ice cream cone in my hand, it was pink guava sorbet, yummy!
On our way back to the campground, we stopped at Teton Pass for a little scenic walk. The wildflowers on the trail were amazing! I wish my garden could look that pretty. We had such a great weekend and are already looking forward to going back again next year.

Way to go Brian! It looks like you had a fun get away- especially the ice cream :)
That looks like so much fun and it is so beautiful there. It makes me want to go. I thought Brian was going for the middle, tall box this race! Ha ha
You know I am only teasing because I could NEVER do that! I wouldn't even be able to finish let alone place! He is awesome.
Congratulations. That's fun that you get to go to some pretty and fun places for the races. Any of the East Coast:)
