I haven't had a fever in a while but I have had a sore throat, ear ache, headache, stuffy nose, bad taste in my mouth, etc. I figured it was just a virus and I had to wait it out. Well, after two weeks of "waiting" it out, I decided to go see a doctor. Apparently my tonsils are covered in white bumps! (No wonder I had a bad taste in my mouth) Sure enough, I have a baceteria infection otherwise known as tonsillitis. The doctor also said it appears I have been exposed to mono, whatever that means. He gave me an antibiotic to take twice a day for 10 days. That doesn't seem so bad until you see the size of the pills, they are HUGE! Anyone who really knows me knows I am challenged when it comes to swallowing a pill. So, I have a sore throat, it hurts to swallow, and I have to take these gigantic pills twice a day. Does anyone feel sorry for me yet?
Brian tried to take a picture of my tonsils but it didn't work. I am posting a picture I found online that looks very similar to mine. Gross!!
If you want to see the real thing, come on over, I'd be happy to show you. :)

Cheryl....ugh!!! NO fun at all, bless your heart! Take care of yourself and have Brian get you lots of popsicles and ice cream :)!!
I was feeling a little neglected when you hadn't checked up on us lately (we were all deathly ill) but now I feel guilty for feeling neglected. Sorry . . . good luck with those pills.
Oh Cheryl, I feel bad for you! I am so sorry! I hope that you get feeling better soon! I am glad that the picture didn't show up on my computer because just reading your symptoms made me a little queasy. The picture may have made me faint...again!
Scott says that is gross! Mine used to look like that until I had them removed! Hope you feel better soon.
So sorry to hear that Cheryl. You must feel miserable. Hope you get better soon.
