Engagement Anniversary

Four years ago today Brian and I went for a Sunday afternoon drive. We drove and drove and ended up at La Caille. As we got out of the car Brian held my hand and we walked around La Caille enjoying the cool air and beautiful surroundings. We walked over to the pond and then Brian sat me down on a bench. He got down on one knee, presented me with a ring and asked me to marry him. Of course I cried and said YES!! Brian, thank you for asking me to be your wife!

White Bumps

I haven't had a fever in a while but I have had a sore throat, ear ache, headache, stuffy nose, bad taste in my mouth, etc. I figured it was just a virus and I had to wait it out. Well, after two weeks of "waiting" it out, I decided to go see a doctor. Apparently my tonsils are covered in white bumps! (No wonder I had a bad taste in my mouth) Sure enough, I have a baceteria infection otherwise known as tonsillitis. The doctor also said it appears I have been exposed to mono, whatever that means. He gave me an antibiotic to take twice a day for 10 days. That doesn't seem so bad until you see the size of the pills, they are HUGE! Anyone who really knows me knows I am challenged when it comes to swallowing a pill. So, I have a sore throat, it hurts to swallow, and I have to take these gigantic pills twice a day. Does anyone feel sorry for me yet?

Brian tried to take a picture of my tonsils but it didn't work. I am posting a picture I found online that looks very similar to mine. Gross!!
