Miss you Becky!

Four years ago today Brian's younger sister Becky passed away in a tragic car accident. I have been thinking a lot about Becky lately. Last night, Brian and I were flipping through channels when we came across the movie Dodgeball. Brian commented on how he went to see that movie with Becky. Then, he said to me, you didn't really get to know Becky, did you? Unfortunately I did not have the opportunity to know Becky as well as others. However, I feel very blessed for the times I was able to spend with Becky. I remember the first time I met her was at the Thomas home on Christmas waiting for Spencer to call home from his mission. The only real one on one time I ever had with Becky was at one of Brians basketball games. I treasure that memory and am so grateful I had the opportunity to sit and chit chat with Becky while watching the basketball game. I hear stories of Becky all the time from random people. Becky touched so many people during her short time here. I only hope I can touch half as many people as she touched. Whenever the Thomas family gets together I think, if only Becky were here. I look forward to the day when we can hang out together. I know you are watching over us. Brian and I miss you Becky and we can't wait to see you again!

Well I only remember Becky as a little blonde girl with a soccer uniform on and a sassy attitude. I'm so sorry you guys lost her. I can't begin to imagine. But I'm glad that I somehow randomly found Brian again four years ago and now we can all be friends. Wait, are we still friends?

I miss her too! Won't that be wonderful when we really are all togehter again...can't wait! It makes all the bad things going on in the world bearable because it's one more step closer to our reunion with her!
