For lack of anything better to post.....
So I have decided to build a new entertainment center for down stairs to replace the unfinished one that is there that I am not too pleased with. There is a picture of that one on my "for a good time click here" link. This is a rough draft of what I envision it looking like. I still have to work the speakers in there somewhere, and I think I am going to locate all the equipment elsewhere in the room, which should be fun routing all the cables.......

It looks like that one blocks out the section in the corner. But I am not sure if you'll be taking it to any corners. If you do I would try to figure out how to keep that space.
What if you extend the center opening just a little bit and put your speakers right to the side of your TV. I can tell a big difference in your new design and I like it A++++ for me.
