This Saturday will be our annual fall Wasatch Crest ride. It is the perfect time of year to see the leaves ablaze in color while cruising along at 10,000 feet. This is your official invitation to come. You, yes you. You are invited. It is mostly all downhill, once you get past Puke Hill, but don't let the name fool you. It's really a mountain, and only half of the people throw up! But seriously, most people walk up it and then it's smooth sailing!
So get off your butts and do something fun!

Favorite Time of Year
Fall is my favorite time of year! I love the smell, temperature and colors. Brian and I took a drive up the canyon on Saturday and took some fun pictures at Silver Lake. There is still a lot of green but it was fun to see some yellow, orange and red.

New Camera Time
Cheryl and I decided it was time for a nice camera, so after saving up for one, we were finally able to get one. Enjoy some sample pics!
Sydney being Sydney
Here I am taking my bike off a "sweet jump." That half circle shadow is from the lens of the camera. This just means we need an external flash!
It's that time of year. The leaves are starting to change. This was taken up Little Cottonwood Canyon on one of my rides.

Garden Tomatoes
I decided to be domestic this year and bottled homemade tomato soup with tomatoes from my garden. Thanks mom for the great recipe and for coming over and helping me! Next weekend I'm going to bottle homemade salsa with the rest of my tomatoes and peppers.
Snow on Labor Day??
Brian and I spent Labor Day weekend in Park City this year and had a great time! We were able to sleep in every day and relax. We did a little shopping at the Outlet stores, ate a yummy dinner at Baja Cantina, did some mountain biking, swimming at the pool and enjoyed a delicious caramel apple. We drove home Labor Day over Guardsman pass and were able to take in the beautiful scenery, and SNOW!
