Fun time up Big Cottonwood Canyon

Saturday morning, Cherie, Nicole and I hiked up to Desolation Lake. We had such a great time! The hike was fairly steep in some places but being the tough girls that we are, we kept pushing forward and made it to the lake in 2 hours. While we were hiking, Brian rode the Wasatch Crest trail, and being the great guy that he is, waited at the lake for almost an hour for us. The hike down took us a little over an hour but it was much easier than the hike up. The three of us are a little sore but we would do it again. Thanks Nicole and Cherie for going with me! I had a lot more fun with the two of you than I would have had by myself.

I went with my friend Steve to take some pictures for a clothing catalog that he was hired to shoot. As good looking as I am, this was my first modeling experience. I know that is hard for some of you to believe! Anyway, here are some of the pictures from our 2 photo shoots.

Holy Beetle, Batman

I went out front the other night and out of the corner of my eye saw something strange. At first I thought it was a clump of grass clippings, but then decided to walk over and take a closer look. I was a little freaked out by this Huge Beetle!

Tonight we went to Murray park for a fun little picnic. It was cloudy and slightly breezy, perfect weather for our picnic!
