Come one, come all! Friday night will be Pirates of the Caribbean night here. Come to watch both pirates movies that night, or just one. The first will be shown inside, and the second will be shown outside (it won't be dark until late, so only one can be outside), so bring your camping chairs and blankets! Then, on Saturday, we will be going to see the third installment. Call Brian or Cheryl for more info.

Let's go camping!

Friday night we all enjoyed delicous tin foil dinners and playing the Nintendo Wii by the warm fire. Saturday consisted of Canoeing on the little lake and a fun and adventurous 4-wheeler excursion. Brian thought it would be fun to tie a rope to the front of the canoe and then have Matt pull him across the lake on the 4-wheeler. Brian, Cheryl and Nicole a

ll tried out the new thrill ride. Kylie and Sydney enjoyed many hours of playing in the water and dirt. They were two very dirty dogs!

12th place finish at the Stan Crane Memorial xc race in Draper!

Well, I managed to move up one spot from my first two races to 12th! This course was really tough at first, as there was a brutal climb up corner canyon that seemed to go on forever! I was in third place before starting the climb, but my weak little legs couldn't sustain that pace forever, so I fell pretty far behind. I managed to overtake a few of them on the singletrack on the way back down though. Overall, I was about 10 minutes behind the winner, which I feel was pretty good since I was about 20 minutes behind the winner in my first race, and 18 behind in my second. So I feel that I am continuing to improve. Also, congrats to Mike, in his first race, he managed to place 12th in the 19-29 class!
